The only correct answer from all of us with big stashes is: "TOO MUCH!""

OFF TOPIC -- There was a human interest story on local television yesterday. The guy owned a guitar shop and had a huge collection of collectible guitars. He was asked. "How many guitars does one person need?" ANSWER" "JUST ONE" pregnant pause. "MORE!" Same holds true for cross stitch patterns, right?

Tell the designers to stop designing more beautiful patterns and we will stop buying them. There is always one more pattern or kit I want when I go looking in the pattern/kit list. My stash gets bigger every day - no will power that's my problem!! Ha Ha!! Now where's that pattern I saw last night that I fell in love with!!

The prices do vary but I find that prices for the patterns are very reasonable compared to kits. As you build your stash of the colored threads a lot of the time you have all that you need or pretty darn close to what you need to start and finish a pattern. I buy the Aida cloth in a roll and cut what I need for each project. That saves a little money as well. Hope that helps. Happy Stitching Jacquie
