A NEW THOUGHT...WELL, FOR ME, ANYWAY
Has anyone ever thought to mount and display finished products in an album? Haven't really thought it out...but using archival paper for division? Perhaps tabs to keep fingers off....Oh, I don't know, too many problematic issues crowding in to give any real thought to....just wondered if anyone had tried it! :)
Maybe using the scrapbooks that kids used to build...not the metal rings, the posts with fasteners...My aunt made a beautifully upholstered cover for my cousin... :)
OK, so I'm nuts... :)

VCESS - you aren't nuts, just creative thinking. How much wall space can anyone possibly have if you are an avid stitcher. Personally I don't frame mine, but make them into pillows. Once again, how many can I use? Of course, many I give as gifts and I figure by the time I get through the majority of my stash, my first ones will need replacing. An album would be a way to continue doing what you love to do, and still have a way to look at them. Another thought would be album covers with a specific theme for those avid scrapbookers!

Great idea! The plastic, acid-free, page protectors would help protect cross stitch too! We moved to the beach house over ten years ago. Did I realize that less square footage means a lot fewer walls? Nope! Neither did DH. We purchased what an artist friend calls "real art" from galleries and artists aand now have no place to put them, let alone my sitched creations!

Excellent suggestion...I think I'm going to start putting something together...plastic covers would keep fingers off...You really don't see all the problems till you get your fingers in...such fun!
