January Thaw
It is January, but can't tell from the temps. This morning it is already 50 degrees. Almost all of our snow has melted - we had around 18 inches accumulated. However, by tomorrow morning we are back to snow. With rain overnight turning to snow in the morning, roads should be a joy - icy etc. - NOT! The forecast is to be back in the teens and low 20's with snow through the weekend. Sounds like stitching time once again!

Today it's 40 below with the wind chill so no January thaw for us here in Winnipeg until next Thursday. Brrrrrr.

Good morning all! It is 55 degrees here in NW Ohio this morning. Tomorrow will be 25 degrees and freezing ice and snow. No wonder we are all sick. My dog Smoke and I will be just staying in and keeping warm and stitching. Since I live in the country I have plenty of food stocked up for at least 2 weeks. Hope any of you in the path of this storm stay safe and warm.

I think we’ve gone from roller coaster to yo-yo, weather wise. 60 here today, with who knows what coming tomorrow. I got all my errands done, grocery, and drug store, and scooped 3 weeks worth of 💩! (Normally my husbands job) I’m ready to sit and stitch, and watch the snow fly!.

I'm in the same belt of weather here in east central IN. The plan is to do the shopping I would usually do on Fri when I leave today. Wish I could stay home and stitch tomorrow instead of coming in. Whatever we end up getting I think the wind will be my downfall. Chins up!

I wanted to add that I am glad I'm not in Winnipeg! Keep warm

Same here in PA. 50 degrees! Time to get the car washed. Rain tomorrow and a mix of snow, sleet, and rain on Saturday and temps going back down and by Sunday we are back in the 20's. I don't mind. I like to enjoy each season as it comes along!

I thought about going to the car wash...then I saw the lines. I don’t do well with lines. If it rains hard enough, I could just park outside, and get a free wash

It’s 60 degrees here as we speak. But that will be changing late Saturday Night through Thursday in the low 20’s at night.
So out come the burlap covers for the 2 jasmine plants late Saturday afternoon through Thursday morning when we will start doing another warm-up..... again
A week of stitching and sipping cocoa.....and thankful I’m not dealing with the 50 below.
Our pantry is stocked so no need to go out.
Everyone stay safe and warm! :)
