Finally!
Here's the finished product - sitting at the framer's. This one took forever - but I am looking forward to hanging it next to the dining room table at Thanksgiving. For February I took up a needlepoint piece - and questioning why I ever chose needlepoint over cross-stitch. I have learned that I much prefer cross-stitch!
Now, about those needlepoint pictures on my WIP shelf ....

... to trash or not to trash (the needlepoint WIPs) ... THAT is the question! (And THINK of all the room it would make on my WIP shelf if I should trash them!) :)

This is really great! I love the touches of blue. They make it so much bettter! I just learned that my love of Fall colors is singular in our family! I just assumed that everyone likes them, but I find that some like other seasons. I began liking every Fall as a child...new school year (new pencils and pens, new teacher, new lunch box, new pals...I loved school). I liked the leaf colors, too...grew up in Ohio, which had all 4 seasons. Even here in California, I can find some trees to ooh and aah over. They are not native, but I am always glad to see them!

Love how your wreath turned out! You’re going to get a lot of compliments when friends/family see this on the wall during the Thanksgiving holidays. Beautiful job!! 😃

Love it! I feel your pain... I’ve been working on a needlepoint piece for about a week, I need to have it done before we go to Nantucket (not til July,) so I can take it back to be finished. On the bright side, I can watch the Olympics, and needlepoint, don’t need to count, recount, then count again.

It turned out beautifully! I too love the greenish/blue hues worked throughout the wreath. Reminds me of eucalyptus. Well done!

Love it!! I have been having trouble finding Thanksgiving designs because all my magazines come from the UK and they do not have that holiday. I found a lot here on Everything so I might have to try one of those.

That is stunning! Truly something to be "thankful" for during Thanksgiving!! I am sure your family and friends will love it as well, but the most important person to please is YOU! I understand about the needlepoint over Xstitch - I too have a WIP for needlepoint that has been sitting in a drawer for a couple of years now. Much prefer cross-stitching.
