There are several cute beginner stamped cross stitch kits on this website. There is a special section for kids and beginners. Just click on stamped projects link on the left side here. I am sure your granddaughters will love learning from Grandma. My grandma taught me to crochet and I still thank her for it though she is no longer here. I am left handed so she had me sit across from her while I was learning. Have an enjoyable time with your granddaughters and don't forget to praise them no matter what the first one looks like.
