GOOD MORNING - What's on your mind FRIDAY
Happy Friday everyone. The week just got away from me. It's cool and rainy here, but Mother's Day it's supposed to get a lot nicer. ECS shipped my order I placed yesterday and it's on the way. Thank you ECS. I'm excited to start the Betsy Ross sampler for the 4th of July. "Tea Time" should be finished today and just in time for the new project. In honor of my mother, I'll keep a photo of her through Sunday. Sure miss her. She was the best and one of the most open-minded, caring people a daughter could have. Have a wonderful Friday.
GOOD MORNING - What's on your mind THURSDAY
Good Thursday morning everyone. Not much going on today and we are welcoming that. Finished the last of the wildflower planting yesterday and transferred a large tiger lily plant into the wildflower garden. Poppy hates the weed wacker so I had to bring her inside. Yesterday was a perfect day to be outside, but today the rain is supposed to start. Almost finished with "Tea Time" and looking forward to hanging it in our kitchen. Have a terrific Thursday.
Backyard Visitors
The local gang of turkeys decided to make a visit to our backyard yesterday and put on a show. There were about nine of them in the group. At least we could see that many, there might have been more in the trees that we could not see. I took these photos through our patio door so as not to disturb them. Now if only we could get the local deer to all come together instead of only 2 or 3 at a time, that would be really great!! We have somebody stop by almost every afternoon.

Mother’s Day
Have any of you received a Mother’s Day gift yet? Did you get a funny one? My daughter is definitely her daddy’s girl🤪😊 She sent me something yesterday and said open it immediately. It’s a beautiful candle in a nice jar that says, “ MOM’s LAST NERVE…. oh, look, it’s on fire!” Share with us, please, both the nice and the ornery gifts you received 😁

Good Morning
Genesis 42: 21-25
21 Then they said to one another,
"We are truly guilty concerning our
brother, for we saw the anguish of
his soul when he pleased with us,
and we would not hear; therefore
this distress has come upon us."
22 And Reuben answered them,
saying, "Did I not speak to you, saying,
"Do not sin against the boy; and you
would not listen? Therefore behold,
his blood is now required of us."
23 But they did not know that Joseph understood them,
for he spoke to them through an interpreter.
24 And he turned himself away from them and wept.
Then he returned to them again, and talked
with them. And he took Simeon from
them and bound him before their eyes.
25 Then Joseph gave command to fill their
sacks with grains, to restore every man's
money to his sack., and to give them
provisions for the journey. Thus he did for them.
Have a bless day!

Good Morning
Genesis 42: 16-20
16 "Send one of you, and let him bring
your brother; and you shall be kept in prison,
that your words may be tested to see whether
there is any truth in you; or else, by the life of
Pharaoh, surely you are spies!"
17 So he put them all together in prison three days.
18 Then Joseph said to them the third day,
"Do this and live, for I fear God:
19 "If you are honest men, let one of your brothers
be confined to your prison house; but you, go and carry
grain for the famine of your houses.
20 'And bring your youngest brother to so, your
words will be verified, and you shall not die."
And they did so.
Have a bless day!
Sewing success!
Hello, friends! Celebrate with me! I just finished sewing for the first time since my January 9th eye surgeries. Considering my continuing vision issues, I think the pillow turned out almost perfectly. One seam allowance is off, but all of the bold colors attract attention. The hummingbird test stitch is more complex than my usual inspirational and nature pillows, but it's going to the craft fair in November for $30, just the same as the other 12" pillows. I can't very well keep all of my test stitches.
