GOOD MORNING - What's on your mind SUNDAY
Good Sunday morning everyone. It was fireworks two houses down last night. Poppy was terrified and slept in the crook of my arm last night. Buddy always sleeps burrowed under blanket and pillow. We call it his igloo. I'm working on "Always Tea Time" to while away the day in between everything else. I'm up and down all day. I don't like to sit for long periods of time. Hope everyone's weekend is going well!
Making monikers, monograms and a little miscellany
Morning and Happy Sunday, people! I just counted four friends that I need to stitch gifts for whose names begin with M. I like to stitch embellished monograms for mis amigos, but in this case I'll have to live in M-town for a long time. I started a Grandma's brag sampler for one of them and two of her grandchildren have M names, too. Well, they're worth it.
But here's what's taking today's cake. A new friend has sent me two sampler projects including ALL the materials, charms and everything! And the best thing is that her name starts with a B. Gotta go stitch now.

Final/Final Chair Update. I hope.
OK, so this is the last update unless it falls apart on me. But it's done, all assembled - by me!! How 'bout that? I have the bumps and bruises to prove it. Worst part was the iron bar arms were mis-labeled and didn't match the instructions (made in China). But I eventually prevailed. And it all worked when I tried it out a few minutes ago. The heat and massage - Ohhh Mama!! - work fine and the recline and lift functions too. It's absolutely silent too. And cushy and comfortable. I think I'm really going to love it. Call me #grateful. (It looks gray, but it's a nice shade of denim blue, low chenille pile. Love it.)

I love it
You did a beautiful job at stitching my flower I was thinking I'd make a bone word search and put your dogs name in as one of the words to find what do you think want to see a word search cross stitch pattern

Good Morning
Genesis 45:1 -5
1 Then Joseph could not restrain
himself before all those who
stood by him, and he cried out,
"Make everyone go out from me!"
So no one stood with him while
Joseph made himself known to
his brothers.
2 And he wept aloud, and the
Egyptians and the house of
Pharaoh heard it.
3 Then Joseph said to his brothers
"I am Joseph; does my father still live?"
But his brothers could not answer him,
for they were dismayed in his presence.
4 And Joseph said to his brothers, "Please
come near. Then he said: I am Joseph
your brother, whom you sold into Egypt.
5 "But now, do not therefore be grieved
or angry with yourselves because you
sold me here; for God sent me before you
to preserve life.
Have a bless day!

(I just read your last comments on the "Being Curious Out Loud" thread and wanted to be sure you saw my response.)
Goodness, no one would guess what you've been through by your posts. We just never know what another person is dealing with. Not to diminish yours or anyone else's experiences, but just to say in a supportive way, I've had two times in my life when I lost or came close to losing, many of the most important things in my life. But they were things - important things nonetheless, like my home that I had worked for, but I found another home. It's hard though when we have to part with the "things" that help us work towards better health by keeping our hands and mind busy and give us a sense of accomplishment when not much can.
I'm glad that you're now able to start rebuilding your inventory. I have many patterns that I'll never stitch again, and some older ones too. If you're interested, I'd be glad for you to give them a new home, along with some Aida (A-DUH, LOL). You would be doing me a favor as my next big project is inventorying and organizing my stash. It would give me such satisfaction to know they're going to a good home. I currently have small piles covering my dining room table, working towards that goal. If you're interested, I'll give you my email for your mailing info. Just wondering, what do you like stitching the most? A favorite designer? I have a little bit of just about everything. Not a Halloween person though. Nothing against it, just never stitched it. OK, I could go on forever about stitchy stuff, but I won't.
Being curious out loud
Just a curious thought here-- when did Aida become pronounced AID-uh so consistently? In the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s AID-uh and
ah-EEE-duh (like the opera) were both acceptable, but the latter was more common where I come from. For some reason, not anymore. Hmmm.

GOOD MORNING - What's on your mind FRIDAY
Good Friday morning this Memorial Day weekend and the kickoff to summer. It's hard to believe that summer is only about a month away. The peony transplant was successful and the plant is now basking in a sunny location. I doubt it will bloom this year, but at least now it will get sun. Today is a stay at home day and I'm hoping to finish Betsy Ross. I never knew this, but she was married three times. Have a good Friday and long weekend for those who are still working.
