Beautiful!
Despite being over 55,000 stitches, it is only one stitch at a time. This took me around 9 months to complete stitching every day. I used 16ct Aida and had it professionally framed.

Floss issues
I'm working on this as a gift for my daughter. The instructions list the number of skeins required for each colour based on 14 ct. I am stitching this on 16 count and have already run into 2 instances where the floss runs out before I am finished stitching that color. Fortunately, I had some in my stash. Is this something that often happens when changing to 16 ct from recommended 14 ct? I am somewhat surprised, followed by annoyance. Thanks! Mary

Kitting this one up to stitch as a gift for my DD's 40th birthday. I have the floss and plan to stitch on 16 count. Her birthday is not until October so starting soon will give myself lots of time.
