The angels are 3-D stand alone dolls. They are stitched on 32 ct. white Belfast Linen with Weeks Dye Works, DMC floss, Mill Hill Beads. The wings are stitched on perforated paper. You can go to The Needle's Notion website and see a larger picture and more information. Hope this helps.

Sherry that is my real name. I was a Jones before I was married, and my sister and I were always known as the Jones Boys even though we were girls. We also always heard about "keeping up with the Jones'" too. I always said I was going to get a 'weird" name when I got married. LOL
