Birdhouse snowman
This is in booklet form, which I do not like. Before I order more, I will need to find out in what form it is sent. Also, the symbols are on there as to what colors to use but now what stitch to use. Confusing!

Of course it is a paper pattern. ECS does not sell downloads. It is a counted cross stitch design. What is confusing about that?

I see it is total cross stitching. I was under the mistaken belief that there were back stitching and french knots. As far as the booklet form, I much prefer my pattern on one sheet. I have never had booklet form. I hope this clears up YOUR confusion.

I wasn't confused. I replied to the entry based on how it is written. Good luck with your projects.

Would it help you if you made a copy of each of the pages and laid (layed) - never sure which one of those words to use - them out to work from? I know it is frustrating sometimes working with a pattern but hopefully you will figure it out. I have this pattern in my wish list so keep us posted as to what you decide. Talk with you again soon.

Cheryl, yes it will be easier if I make copies of the booklet pages and I am going to do that shortly. I also need to go to buy the floss I need and get started. I am making this for my son and daughter-in-law for Christmas. Can't wait to get started.
I will let you know how it turns out.

Don't panic! I remember the first time I got a booklet with many pages. Uff da! I was really in a panic but I copied the pages and the directions were there for how the pages were to be joined and it all came out fine. You can do it!

Boy can't imagine how big the page would be if they did it all on one page.

I was thinking really tiny print. :)

Good afternoon ladies, I have made copies of the pages and I will have no problem putting them together. As far as it being on one sheet, I do have a couple of large pieces I did some years back. I no longer have the patterns so don't know how big the page was. I find these to be easier but will do just fine with this. Enjoy the holiday.

Hence the need for magnifiers, VCESS! All that tiny print. :)
