Stained Class Ornaments
Has anyone done these ornaments? I have shied away from ornaments because of the finished edges but these don't look like they require that much "crafting" to finish.

Those are really pretty. I've been looking at doing some ornaments also but I haven't made any yet. I am interested in the replies you get.

I could be wrong, you'd have to ask when they get them back in stock, but, it looks to me like they might be done on 14 count plastic. There would be no finishing except cutting out around the edges and if you wanted to put something on the back. I tried to find out more info for you other places with no luck. Sorry.

What do you do with them? Do you sew all around them after finishing ? or you put them on cardboard? How do you do your?

Hi there

What do you do with them? Do you sew all around them? Or do you glue them on cardboard? How do you do yours?

Many thanks for a reply

They might be done on white paper...as a kit, whether plastic canvas, paper, or fabric, it will come with the kit. :)

The ornaments I have done are on perforated paper. there is no real finishing except putting paper on the back if desired. The paper is easy to work with.

I am hoping they are not plastic canvas. I tried that years ago and didn't really like working with it. If it's perforated paper that may be ok. I have never used it but it sounds pretty easy. Once they come back in stock I will check out the description and if all else fails I will e-mail customer service and ask them.
Thanks for all of the input and help.

Doesn't matter if the kit is plastic canvas. You can use whatever medium you want...fabric, paper, waste canvas...pick your poison and jump! :)

VCESS,
That is so true! If I switch the medium on which I am working, do I have to adjust the way the pattern is done?
