Remember when we were all complaining about the cold?
Well, I said I’d complain about the heat too, so here goes. It’s hot, freaking hot, it’s humid, and did I mention it’s hot? I let the dog out, and she melted into the patio.

I have a very hot German Shepherd that doesn't understand that yes I open the door as usual, I have a bell on the door that she hits when she needs to go outside. She doesn't understand that outside it is not air conditioned so she has the routine down pat. Run out door, run to back of yard, turn her back, cause if she can't see me, I can't see her; right do my business and run to still open door in record time. She gives the cats a dirty look. and lays down on the cool floor. She holds it for a longgggg time!

Our Boston Terrier loves to sunbathe. It was 63 and he thinks it is hot enough! Then he races in the house (we have no AC and barely have heat. Sparky lays down in the same area that all Bosties have laid to sunbathe! He comes in and collapses on the floor. Gets up once he cools down and repeats the sequence. We fear he may have a loose screw!

Here in SC we are HOT, HUMID (isn't the word) and DRY. My mare Indy, was standing in her water trough yesterday splashing in the water. The little birdies were lined up on the fence waiting to take turns splashing in the tiny mud puddles that Indy was making...The squirrels were camped out in the barn under the stall fans...The barn cat, Chex was inside the house in the a/c watching TV on the couch...I said I wasn't going to complain about the Heat too, back when we had those 5 degree mornings in January, water pipes busting and pumps freezing up, what a mess. WE NEVER get down to 5 degrees, 30's and a few 20's MAYBE....kinda wish we had a few of those mornings now.....

Getting super dry in PA. T-storm just rolled through but not enough rain to keep the dust down just a lot of noise.☹️

I'm in NoCo. I am so done with summer!! I have bites from mosquitoes, spiders, and got a new one from a wasp yesterday while watering my tomatoes and herbs. Give me a break!! So... aside from the 10 minutes to water stuff... I'm stitching and plotting a few more projects. Sound good?

I think "the heat is on" everywhere. I knew when complaining about the cold Mother Nature would get even Maybe she just likes to hear all of us complain all of the time?!?! I know I want to do more yard work, but I just cannot take this heat and humidity. Even watering some plants that don't get the sprinkling system is a royal pain. I see clouds around us and reports of rain, but nothing by us. Oh well, get to keep on stitching.
