Framed Koi!!
Back from the framer's! I just LOVE how it turned out! They used a driftwood style frame that I think really brings out the "pond feel" to it.

ZZ, can't believe how beautiful that is. I can't tell on my computer what the color is on the dominant mat, but underneath that vivid color with the other mat just sets it off and I like the frame too. What I am trying to say is that the work that you did was not overwhelmed with the attention going to the frame and mats. Your work dominates. Again, that scores a 100 out of a 100!!!!!!

Thanks, Pam and Nita! The main mat is black, with the inner mat being a bright red. The picture really doesn't do it justice. In person, it looks like a three dimensional painting! I just got it hung, and I can't stop staring at it every time I walk by!

As even more fabulous framed. Iā€™d be staring at it too!

No, I remember when you posted the work unframed and how it looked 3 dimensional then. To me it honestly looks like an aquarium. It is too cool. Pam

Wow it looks fantastic and the framing just highlights everything. I wouldn't be able to stop looking at it either.

Amazing! They look so real I might be tempted to feed them.

If you laid it flat, like in a memory table, it would look like a real mini-pond! It Is a beautiful piece! šŸ˜Š
