thank you for answering, also not sure if you are into cross stitching, but I usually buy kits so everything is there and cut out. but since I have been ordering just patterns, do I always have to buy a bigger piece of the 14 count and cut to the size I need. For example, I am doing a mini cat series and it a 4x4 project put of course a little larger for framing or whatever I want so I have to cut a 7x7 piece from my larger one. Just wondering if anyone sells pre cut 14 count, like for mini ornaments ect. thank you so much again

I have never seen precut material. I have cut my own material to size. Usually it is a uniform size like 10 x 18 (for example only) and if I am doing something small, I just cut my material allowing for extra on all sides then I have material left for other projects. If anyone knows other than that maybe they will post. I know for kits I do not use the material that comes with it because usually I worry about size and I want that extra so I can do what I want:frame, wall hanging, ornaments. Good luck. Pam
