If you are ever wondering whether an item is a kit or a pattern, it always says so in large print right in the center of the item description. This one says:

ManufacturerKooler Design Studio
Themes Stockings
Product Type Cross Stitch Patterns

So, it's just a pattern, not a kit :) The kits will also list all the things included in the kit, at least all the listings that I've seen, and this one does not.

If you ever see merchandise such as this or other cross stitch projects, tap on the item you are interested in and then Tap on the button titled, ‘View Item’ and it will take you to a screen that gives you the information you need ie. Pattern or kit, manufacturers name, size, etc.
