I love having friends and family visit, but I'm always exhausted after too - not necessarily physically, for me it's that I have to be "on" when they're around - sociable and entertaining! I'm always so happy to get back to my quiet pursuits after too. Some stitching will definitely help!!

Hope it's a relief that the noise stops...sometimes I have to jack up the stereo, or leave! Motor still revving...so enjoy your power down, however it happens! 😊

Great to have you back Bermuda! I also know the feeling of having family or friends but liking the peace and quiet, as craftydiva said always feeling the need to be "on" and not being able to just be. I don't sleep well either because I feel like I have to stay up and entertain and be up to make coffee and breakfast so I end up waking up at any little noise. I will give technology that at least the coffee maker can be set to start at any time but I still feel the need to be up and entertain.
