The design doesn't include anything to mark off the days off with. Like the above poster stated, this is a pattern only so you're just getting the chart of the design shown. But you could get creative with the finished design and come up with something to use to mark off the stitched days :) Maybe use a piece of felt with Velcro or place a magnetic needle minder on the day you are on?! Just a few suggestions. Hope this helps!

Hi Kathy! What I would do is make the project longer so you can make the number squares longer. Stitch the number towards the bottom of the square then sew a small red or green button above the number. Cross stitch a star or snowflake (or whatever) separately and attach a loop. Move it along from day to day putting the loop over the button. Or is this too much work😬 (I would do it)😊
