I can understand option 2 Jaj. Maybe pick up more than one skein of the same floss color on Tuesday. No doubt your ‘lost’ color will show up the day you come back with the other skein. I now have pink- colored ‘spare floss’ plastic boxes in my stash up North and down south for the very reason you mentioned. Can’t get more _nal than that...
We’re you using the skein when it Disappeared? If so, suggest you stick your hand way down deep on the INSIDE of the chair or sofa arms, INCLUDING the back, and feel for it. Someone lost a skein and found it that way...you’d be surprised what you find in those sofa and arm chair crevices.....

I didn’t lose it, I used it. I thought there might be more hiding in other projects, but no such luck.

Or talk someone into going to get it for you. I miss having teens in the house...hand them the keys and point with a list...might be hours before they return, but sometimes that wasn't a bad thing. 😊

I have LOTS and LOTS of floss. What number do you need? I would be happy to slip a skein or two into an envelop and put in an envelop to send it your way. Some day in the future, if someone need a skeins that you have in your stash and you could Pay it Forward and send it on!

Thanks for the very kind offer Nancy...We ended up going out for dinner last night, so we made a slight detour to the the craft store. On a side note, taking my husband to a craft store is a bad idea, he wanders off, and plays with everything.
