Delays again
The other day a work mate asked me if I was going to make some more crochet blankets for babies as I did last year for our 'Kidz in Hospital" fund raising we do each September. After some thought I have reluctantly put down "Sweet Rememberance" and picked up the crochet hook and am now over halfway through the second blanket. I will pick up some more wool from the MIL's house on Sunday as she has so much wool in a bedroom I couldn't believe it when I went and looked. There should also be some baby jackets, booties and hats I did a while ago so I must go and find them and they can go as well. Damn I was really getting into this project and not Krafty will get ahead of me.

Deirdre,
I'm sorry you have to take a break from your "Sweet Rememberance". As a mother of a 26 year old son who is disabled and has been in and out of the hospital since birth. My daughter, age 24, also had multiple surgeries and hospitalizations for a birthmark. I want to say THANK YOU for giving of your talents of crochet to others with "Kidz in Hospital". You probably won't fully know what your gift does for someone else but I just wanted to make sure you know that it is very much
appreciated. Jean

Have now almost finished two more and have a LARGE bag of wool to carry on and do some more. The break will probably do me good as I was starting to make mistakes and that is never a good position to be in and I tend to put WIP's in the corner and start another one or pick up an earlier WIP and carry on.

Yeah! Good for you! I am so amazed at some of the
selflessness of people.

What a wonderful thing you are doing Deidre! ‘Sweet Remembrance’ will call you back when the time is right!
How about a ‘Sweet Remembrance’ update picture when you get a chance. We would love to see your progress!! :)

Bermuda I will get "he who is sometimes obeyed" (by me) to give me hand when I can get him off the computer talking to the Inland Revenue with clients' problems. Not easy believe me.
