Another day
Another adventure. Trip to the dentist, to have an evil tooth pulled (after several attempts to save it via root canals) Many needle pokes, tugging, jabbing etc. he stepped out of the room, and when he came back told me he was not feeling well, and was going to the ER, because he felt like he was going to pass out. Yikes! They did call another dentist, who was able to get me in right away, but he was a 20 minute drive away. (He’s an oral surgeon, been there before) picture me driving, with a mouthful of gauze, one whole side my face numb, trying to cuss at every red light. It sounded like sung ub a ich, even I had to laugh.

They sure can be evil. I've got one, but it's the anchor for bracket of partial. Don't mind the dental work. IT'S THE IMPRESSION I'm hiding from. My sis in TN just had 2 months of appts for mass in neck (ultrasound, c scan, scope, needle biopsy and surgery). Result was abscess caused by tooth.

Trust you to find the funny bone in a very stressful, painful situation-very descriptive. It would have been nice if the dentist had let you know before he started with the shots! Hey, it isn't funny but you made it funny. Those root canals are not cheap! Hope it is still "not" hurting. lhogan-The news about your sister is that it was an abcess which is serious but not a mass of a different sort. I know she is relieved (and you too). Peace. Pam
