Pres on Boards
Can these be easily cut to different sizes?

Yes, Nancy, they can be cut. However, I'd use an Exact-o knife and a straight edge, rather than your scissors, so they don't get all gummed up with sticky glue.

Hi, my name is Pam and I am a stitcher on the ECS web page. I have never tried to cut one. I know they do come in different sizes. Maybe someone will jump in to say they have cut the boards. Are you thinking of a particular project? See, told you someone would jump in.

my project is a counted cross stitch that is actually more square 14 x14 --- would love to keep it like that. Also from other posts I see these boards are not the foam boards - but just self stick boards?

They are not foam. Just white cardboard about 1/16th of an inch thick with adhesive on one side.

Yes, with a mat knife and good solid metal edge or metal ruler.
But if you are planning to mount your cross stitch to that atrocious
thing I would reconsider. That is a soooooooo bad. Sorry but having worked as
a framer I have seen the damage it can do. Foam core and sequins pins along
the edge of the foam core is so much better.

Hi, Nancy - I always buy my boards from my local craft shop, and because I have a good relationship with them, and if someone is available, they will cut them for me at no charge!
