Tribal Panda Therapy
With the ongoing discussion of my daughter and college, I wanted to mention that I am stitching the tribal panda for her. I started it after we got home from dropping her off. Love stitching! It is my therapy, my happy, most of the time stress-free (unless I am frogging) time!

That is a kool pattern. Luv panda bears and koala bears. I spent 4 hours frogging two pieces all the way stitches out because I changed my mind on what pattern I wanted to do. I can't believe it takes twice as long to frog as it did when I put the stitch in. Was tempted to trash fabric but I am retired now and that moola, dinero, green backs whatever you call money discretionary income has gone by-by. Sooooooooo I bit the bullet.

Will this be a surprise or does she know? It's cute and will make her happy.

I am still praying for Dani and your family. A teacher at school was having trouble with her son who was graduating. She was about to tear her hair out. And I told her that I call things like that are "inconveniences(sp). It is serious but not life and death. I sure wish that God would give us a manual when we have a child because it would make life so much easier. And the thing is, when you have a child they are your forever child no matter how old they are. My mom would call me on my birthday every year and she would say, you are still my baby girl and you are beautiful inside and outside. How I miss those calls. Peace. Pam

lhogan,
Well, I showed her the pattern months ago when I first bought it. She doesn't know I am working on it now so I am hoping it will be a surprise and put a smile on her face. Nothing seems to these days.

Surt,
She is still having a tough transition. Last night was especially hard but we got her through it. I have been texting her a thought of the day every morning. My high school principal would end her morning announcements every day with a thought of the day and I always loved that and it helped on those tough days to reflect upon her words of wisdom.

Pam,
Thank you for keeping us in your prayers and especially Dani. I truly appreciate it. I wish there was an instruction manual boy would that make it so much easier right now. Like with your mom she will always be my baby girl!
