Mystic Stitch #1 Native American
I just bought this pattern and I have never seen such tiny printed instructions.. I guess I will have to get it enlarged but 28 pages could get expensive. I looked at the pattern through a magnifier and not much better..another dilemma...

Hi McLeod -
Did you purchase this copy from ECS?
If so, I have a suggestion that may help. Go to the mystic Stitch website, then on the right hand side of their front page, tap on ‘Special Services’ which will give you the choice of a “larger chart”, tap on it and read the last paragragh since you already own the chart. Or e-mail her and ask if any cost to receiving a larger print chart, since you own it- maybe she can help you without the reprint cost.

If you have an iPad... I take photos of the chart with the iPad and then I can enlarge a section at a time while I'm stitching it.

Oh my sainted guinea pig!! My eyes are having hernias just looking at it. I would be heading straight to DH's copier to enlarge it to a size I could read and then do 2 copies so that I had an extra if the first one becomes damaged over time.

whatever you do DO NOT MARK UP YOUR ORIGINAL. Do you have a scanner? Scan each page into your computer. Than print off one page at a time. You will probably have the ability to enlarge section by section. It will take a lot of time and paper, not to mention patience. Be sure to put the original in a safe place so you will be able to reference it if necessary.

For future reference: once finished if you are tempted to stitch another large project ARTECY patterns are easy on the eyes. More pages but larger grids and clear symbols.

I don't have a way to reproduce or enlarge these pages..I will let Kristi know this chart is not readable..not going to work on this pattern right now as I am in the middle of another project.. Of course I ordered it from ECS..would never have done so if I knew it was unreadable😳

Maybe I've been looking at a Governour chart too long, but that chart doesn't look that bad...unless it's a bad print, maybe? I could read it, but I could also enlarge it. Kristi will know what to do...or whoever answers the phone. Remember, they don't do customer service stuff in the chat room....CALL! 😊

VCESS, which Gouverneur project are you stitching? I love her stuff, but they usually take me at least 18 months to stitch.

SusieB, I'm working the red/yellow parrot tulip for the DD. She found four kits on clearance at HL for less than $6 ea. She falls into stuff like that ALL the time--so annoying. 😃 Anyway, she's doing the partner kit and figures it will take her 2 years...it would take forever for her to finish both...I got conned into doing this one. She wasn't exaggerating! It took her two weeks to grid hers! 😆
I don't do many kits...usually Dimension or Imaginating...this my first Gouveneur. The charts sort of surprised me...looonnnng sheets and i still had to break them up and enlarge...half blind. I am a little nervous about the floss amount...this thing is LARGE and the amounts seem a bit puny...but there are 47 "puny-s", so what do I know??! We'll see...😨

I take patterns to staples they do a get job and its not that much you could do a couple pages to get started and do more as you need them. I usually enlarge 50 percent.

Copies are no problem...DD thinks she's genius with copier. Dang, if she ain't! 😄
