Woolen & Acrylic yarn
Has anyone used this type of thread? How did you like it? I have two patterns from Rolis and both uses this "yarn", I thought about converting it to DMC by just taking the yarn to Michaels and find the closest color match. What do you all think?

jclifford1, I have always changed the yarn to DMC floss because I have found the yarn with these kits get frayed all the time. Riolis has beautiful kits but the yarn isn't worth working with taking up my time. Sometimes I think the yarn is "old". That's my opinion.

I agree, Maubennet. The "yarn" seems very fragile. Thanks for the feedback!

It makes me think of it more as needlepoint than cross-stitch, but I see it says cross-stitch. I've never cross-stitched with yarn.

I threw one kit away because of the yarn. Riolis has beautiful patterns but don't care for the yarn. Love DMC. Pam
