Star wars project
This pattern is not for beginners. I have been cross stitching for about 30 years and have working on this for over a year. With all the details I'm only on pg 4. I'm using various needle sizes to cut back on color change times and needle threading. A very intense project.

I'm having the same problem with Sweet Rememberance. It does tend to cause grrr moments when you find a solitary stitch all alone in the wilderness and have to thread a needle just for that one. Never mind I think your one will be gorgeous when finished.

Make sure you post a picture of it -even as you work on it - I know I would love to see it.

I will post a picture as soon as I unroll it on my scroll frame. It's looks great but it is frustrating and very intense.
As far as the way I do the color changes. I labeled each color with a different needle on a piece of paper in a binder so my dogs don't pull them out.

I bought this pattern a while ago but haven't started it yet. It was very overwhelming when I received it ....all the pages! I think this might be a project to work on in my retirement years when I have more time to sit and stitch. I think if I pick this up and put it down too many times I will lose my place and make to many mistakes!

I sort of cheated. I put each page in a plastic sleeve so I could use a sharpie to mark off stitches. Sharpie comes off with either nail polish remover or hair spray. Its been a life saver.

I also photo copy the pattern just in case

Regardless of the size of the pattern, I make a copy and mark off with a pencil what I have done - I shade in the square. This helps me keep on track. Mary
