I have finished several of these advanced kits and always run out of several colors of thread. This time I have taken all of the thread off of the cardboard organizers and wrapped each color around an index card. Then I numbered the cards and put them in order in a small box. Now when I have some thread left I can wrap it around the card instead of adding it to a bunch of other loose thread that always ends up a tangled mess. I am finding it much easier to quickly find the thread I need. I hope this hint is helpful to others.
