Unfortunately, Thea's designs are all in kit form. Everything Cross Stitch has no control over this. At one time, I would have loved to stitch one of her patterns but don't like the fabric that comes in the kits. Good luck in your search.

Thea could care less about the literally thousands of stitchers asking her for less expensive kits, but she has been resolute in her concept of what she, or her designs, are worth.

Perhaps someone who has already stitched this design could give you the floss numbers for this. I would also try DMC. Just a nice light letter to DMC, telling them that you have preferred their floss since you first learned and that you have been unable to find the list. I would even be brave enough to mention that someone at DMC must have the list, since they must have agreed with Ms. Gouvernier to not only have her exclusively recommend her floss, but to incude DMC in her kit.

In checking Thea Gouverneur's catalog of patterns on her website, I did not find one called "The Blessed Virgin Mary."
The patterns she lists are:
Our Lady of the Gate of Dawn
Our Lady of Vladimir
Mother of God
Madonna of Czeslochowa, and
The Holy Virgin of Kazan

I would try to determine which one is the pattern you have by looking through her catalog, and then contact Thea through her website at theagouverneur.com. Good luck!

I have a feeling Thea Gouverneur doesn't use a floss number list because they don't want people to be able to make it twice or worried that someone may pick up the pattern somewhere. I bought one of her patterns not realizing there is no list. So I would have to spend all day at a store matching thread. What a pain that would be.

Save your time and energy. Thea does not release her thread lists. Neither will DMC, that would be a violation of their contract with her.

The previous poster is correct: That is exactly why some designers offer kits only and don't release their thread lists. Joanne Harvey of the Examplerary is another one. Sadly, the unscrupulous among us and even those simply ignorant of the whole copyright laws are making these actions necssary.

You would have to do a conversion yourself. Time consuming, but doable.

I spent 2 hrs at Hobby Lobby sorting and matching found everything and made my own key already started the piece if you ever need help let me know. I guess if you want something done right do it yourself!
