Fabric
Can this project be done o Aida 18 or 14 count fabric? If so, what size fabric would I need? I’ve never cross stitched on linen or open weave fabrics before.

You can substitute Aida for linen. The difference is that the holes in the Aida fabric will be more prominent in the unstitched areas than linen. As far as how much fabric you need, what is the stitch count noted in the pattern?

You could use a 16 count Aida, so the size would be exactly the same. Fabric size should be at least 23 x 23. ECS has 3 or 4 lovely blue shades in 16 count.
