I bought this kit recently and it does have a light blue material in it to stitch on. Will try and get it done plus one other for my great-nieces next Christmas (provided they don't annoy me in the meantime).

That is too cute! I still have my stocking from when I was 3. All Mom did was embroider my name at the top but it is one of my most cherished posessions and is going on my new memory tree. Pam

I really like that stocking. I would like to do stockings for my granddaughters, but afraid I would not know how to put them together. I dont sew. 😂😂😂
