Christmas Tree
I have posted before about my short hair black cat that eats everything that's inedible. The first time was Christmas red tinsel that cost me $500. My son bought a 6 ft. tinsel tree this week. Today DH found her eating on the tinsel. Five minutes later, upchuck. Silver tinsel appeared. Believe that tree is going in son's room. How can I be so dumb sometimes? Pam

Not dumb Pam, just hoping the cat will learn NOT to eat tinsel! Maybe her nine lives keeps her from catching on to what is and what is not good for her.

Pam, I hope she got it all out and you don't have another vet bill. I wonder if you could put something bitter tasting (that won't discolor the tree) on bottom pieces, but safer to move to son's room.
How are you? Did you have your MRI?

lhogan, you were right. Was cleaning one of the litter boxes and low and behold, silver tinsel in the stool. I bought a can of spray that is supposed to be a deterrent to chewing and scratching. Sprayed a bunch on an old rag and wiped the tinsel for about 3 feet off the bottom of the tree. I swear to goodness, who would think anything would want to chew on something that doesn't taste good to begin with!!!!!! aarghhhhhhhh

I feel your pain! I thought my dog had eaten my mouth guard that was on my nightstand. 500.00 plus we were getting ready to take her 1hr away to another vet for cat scan when I went to grab my car keys and guess what was in my purse. She must have taken it but saw my purse and decided she wanted a tissue instead. Never had a dog that has a fixation on tissues.

My German Shepherd is my angel. She is supposed to supervise the cats but is falling down on the job. I just had a black long hair kitten neutered (thought it was a girl=didn't look) and he has now discovered climbing skills. He decided to climb the tree this morning. I really don't like that tree!!! I am going to buy a squirt gun because by the time I get to the scene of the crime, they have forgotten what they did wrong. Anyhow, I am so glad that the dog decided the tissue was a better deal because you step one foot into the vet and "cha-ching" and you start to hold onto your purse. Pam

My MRI is scheduled for Tuesday at 3 CST and am asking for prayer. I am terrified of the machine to begin with and then I am afraid they will actually find something. Just please send good thoughts and prayers for me that afternoon. Stitchers are awesome prayer warriors. Pam

Sending prayers! I’ve had a couple of MRI’s, they weren’t so bad, just boring!
