Kooler Design pattern
I am wanting to purchase the pattern Snowman & friends by Kooler Designs to do as a picture (not a stocking). I have never done a Kooler pattern and am wondering if they are user friendly.

I have done several Kooler designs stockings from her 2 stockings collections books and yes they are very easy patterns and user friendly. There will be a few half and quarter crosses, mostly in faces, and some backstitching. The patterns are 1-2 pages and very easy to read. I really enjoyed stitching each one of them. The books anyway, give good directions for finishing the stockings too. - Marsha

Marsha - thank you for your answer. That is just the information I needed. I am trying to decide between the Kooler snowman shown and a Stoney Creek stocking pattern. Thanks again.

Cheryl,
This is such a cute pattern! Have you done other stocking patterns but not as stockings?
I love this pattern. I wonder how this would look. Are you adding other things to the picture?

Hi maubennet - I have never done a stocking pattern either as a stocking or picture. I think this one I will not do any outlining border around the snow people and might add some snowflakes from S. Creek and maybe a bluebird charm on the area outside above the toe just so it won't look so empty. I think I will be ordering it next week. Am trying to decide now whether to use white aida or a real light blue. Will have to pull it up a few more times and look it over before I order the pattern and fabric. I think it will really be cute when done.
