How many strands of thread to be used for this?
How many thread strands to be used? Is the pattern boundary already marked on the cloth?

Depends on the fabric that you use and how dense you prefer the coverage. For 14 count fabric, I prefer using 3 strands of floss. This gives a dense coverage like a tapestry. Using 2 strands, you may see some fabric showing through the stitches. For 18 count fabric, I would only use two strands. It is all a personal preference. Try a few stitches and see how you like it. Enjoy the project. Beautiful pattern!

Raman, this is not a kit. This is just the pattern. The fabric and floss is not included. You will need to buy them separately, or use fabric and floss from your own stash. If you use 14ct, I would think 2 strands would be enough, but suggest trying a few stitches with various numbers of strands to see how you like the coverage.

Raman are you plannng on doing on 14 ct? The number of strands is s personal choice. Artecy usually suggests 2 but some people don’t like show through. I would suggest you do a test on scrap material of maybe 6 or 8 stitches with 2 strands and again with 3 and see which you like best. The border is not on material and likely not to be stitched either. Artecy puts that around the needlework to highlight the picture. Beautiful piece.
