If you click on the picture and then you will see the "fabric calculator". Click on that. The stitch numbers come up--now click on the little arrow and find the 18 count fabric. You will see the size you need and the area stitched in inches. Add a couple more inches for framing than what is recommended. Hope I explained this clearly.

You can work this on any count fabric you like. There is a fabric calculator on the page with the description. If you want to use 18 count fabric, your finished area will be 22.2" x 16.6 inches. Suggested size for the fabric is 27" x 21". I would even go a bit larger - probably 28" x 23" just so you have plenty for mounting.
