I'm not Kristi but wanted to tell you I am glad to see you are considering buying more. I worry about you running out of things to do.

Too Funny! Started a new project last night - well, I'm bobbinating the floss (I think it has over 30 colors). It took me 4 hours to bobbinate! So now I'm one more closer to the end of my stash! Only about 100 more to go! So I def need to replenish b'c I surely don't want to run out!

Hi there jclifford1,

Got the supplies posted for you! This design uses 28 Ct. Pampas Cashel by Picture This Plus and I looked at our 28ct. Cashel Linen selection and we do not have an alternative that would be close to that specific fabric. Just wanted to let you know. Thanks!!

Thanks Kristi. I found the Pampas in 14 count Aida at Stoney Creek as well as the 28 ct Cashel Linen. However, in the picture, it looks beige instead of green. Of course the linen looks a lot better than the Aida. But I can't see the Linen, especially when it's dyed, so I'll end up with the Aida. Maybe, I'll do another color instead of the green.

What do you all think? Here's the link for Stoney Creek's PTP Pampas in both the Aida and Linen (go halfway down).
What about the sand (towards the bottom)? The Wren (page 4) is nice too for the background.

Those are beautiful fabrics. Personally I would go with the Wren on my screen the Pampas and Sand wouldn't go with anywhere in my house I wanted to hang It! I agree the Pampas and Sand are very similar, it just looks like the Pampas has more green in it. I like the Tycho on the same page as the Wren also. Ultimately it's your choice. I generally just pick my fabric according to what I think would look best to showcase the piece and would fit in nicely where I want to display it from what I've seen of your finishes you have great taste. I am sure it will be beautiful whatever you decide.

Hi jclifford1,

I see what you mean. The photo for the actual Pampas on the Stoney Creek website is more of a green and I don't get that from the cover of the actual pattern book. When I google the 28ct. Pampas linen, I get a less green version on Google Images so I guess that's the chance you take with it being a hand dyed linen?

I do like the Wren you mentioned and I also like the Tycho they have listed there on page 4 as well.

I also looked at their 14ct. Stoney Creek Dyed Aida fabrics and I liked the Spring Meadow that is listed on there.

I agree with you both, Le-Anne and Kristi. I do like the Spring Meadow too. Ok, I'll put this pattern in my cart and order a couple of fabrics and choose once it gets here! Fabric doesn't go to waste! I'll use it for something else if not this! Thanks Girls!
