There are special beading threads for specialty beading projects, but for my small beading needs, I just use cotton embroidery floss. 😃

Maybe its both.. I have a beading needle; but I can't get my thread thru the eye? and if I use a bigger needle my beads are to small? I'm new to this and a little confused? thank you for getting back to me.

Don't get me started complaining about beading needles! Just one of my complaints about beading. Try a size 26 or 28 tapestry needle...that's the easiest thing to try. Don't have those? I tried 4 different threaders trying to find one with a filament fine enough to fit through the eye of a kit beading needle. Finally tried a collapsible eye beading needle...they work beautifully.
Someone tried to talk me through a method where you lay the thread across the eye and roll the needle, and the needle threads itself. I thought I heard laughter from the bead box. It did not work for me. ☺

Do you sell the collapsible eye beading needle?

I'm not much of a beading enthusiast because of my adventures. But I'm game for the small projects. But Mirabilia, while gorgeous, probably won't be in my stash. Still, to not be an enthusiast, I sure have a lot of beading paraphernalia. 😄

Oh, I'm not on the ECS staff or even connected to them! I think I got my collapsible eye needles on Amazon...couldn't tell you for how much. Maybe $4 for 3. But that was a while back and lots of needlecraft is no longer a bargain on there. I'll see if I can find them in my old orders and get back to you. ECS has lots of beading needles, but I don't think they have these...
