WIP - Water Lunch
I don't know if I have posted this WIP before. I did a search, but nothing came up, so maybe not. Anyway, this is "Water Lunch" by Design Works. I've been working on this off and on for over a year, maybe two. I'm stitching it 1 over 1 on 25ct evenweave using DMC. The water and sky is seemingly endless and taking me forever to stitch! Not to mention there being tons of backstitch. Just about everything is backstitched. I just decided recently that it needed to be finished, so I'm trying!

I think I remember seeing this awhile back, looks like you have made a lot of progress. It is really cute. Your work is really great!

Good for you Susiebelle! Hang in there lady!! You have me, (among others)for company between all the ‘confetti’ stitching in my ‘Autumn Trees’ WIP; the blue sky of my ‘Iwo Jima”WIP; the ‘1 over 1’ on the 25- count HAED “Love Me Not” WIP and the ‘1 over 1’ stitching on the ‘Autumn Trees’ as well as the ‘confetti’.
I’m a sucker for punishment.....
But the reward of satisfaction you’ll get when you complete ‘Water Lunch’ will be memorable!!!
I love the colors and style of this project!

This is a fun one! The little chubby figures are charming and make you smile. 😊
Boats are catching my eye a lot lately...I saw another cute small boat pattern in a British mag that keeps popping into my frontal lobe...I think it might be the shades of blue that I'm flipping over. I'm not usually a water baby, but those blues... 😊

I am like VCESS. It makes me smile and it also makes me want to be part of that group. I certainly would not have on the bikini, just a tee and some shorts (long shorts). LOL You really have done an amazing job. Pam

I would have to wear a long-sleeved, maxi length caftan!
Lunch sounds great too!
