Starting point
The two arrows are not centered. Should I start where the arrows are or in center?

Do the counting and find the true center then work out from there. I did not do this when I stitched this pattern and the design was not centered on the fabric. It was difficult to frame because of this. Hope this helps! Mary

Personally I've never found an instance where the two arrows did not meet in the center. What you might want to do is to use a ruler to draw a line from the top arrow to the bottom of the picture and from the side arrow to the other side of the picture.. Where they intersect in the middle is the true center. Sometimes the arrows don't look like they are centered due to a lot of 'empty' space in the design.

I agree with Mary. I would count it out and move a line myself if necessary. This could be one of those mistakes the publisher realized after printing. There might be an amendment to the pattern on the manufacturers website.

I vote for true center every time. When I try to figure out how to start in the upper left hand, I start to get woozy. Habits die hard. Pam

Always true center and work out! If you need to grab the dental floss and make a temporary grid to get going. Hang in there!

When grabbing, grab unflavored and uncoated! The fewer chemicals, the better! For your mouth, too! 😄

I have had misprints on charts like this happen 2 to 3 times and missed catching it once and am short fabric on one side and I'm plus fabric on the other side. If you catch it before you start stitching, definitely double and triple check your count to make sure you are right where the center should be and go with the true center like other posters here have recommended or you will come up short fabric on one side like I did and have too much on the opposite side.

Count using the 10 x 10 squares and adding any
additional squares. It won’t take you more than 5 or 6 minutes to do this to find the ‘true’ center and it will prevent you from having future grief of the design not being centered.
