Is the tapestry cross stitch a leaflet pattern
Posted by: debstrigger on 12/18/16
This is a pattern and not a kit. It will be in several pages to do the stitching since it is so large. If you contact Kristi here at ECS she should be able to tell you how many pages are in the pattern.

It is a beautiful pattern that will be very intricate. I have this pattern as a 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle that I bought and it is very beautiful.

Enjoy your stitching.

This is a counted cross stitch pattern and the chart will be in black and white symbols. There are only full stitches used in this design. It is stitched with 2 strands of floss over 1 on 25ct evenweave. I think the design covers about 15-20 pages. The supplies, such as the floss and the fabric will have to be purchased separately and the floss that is needed for this design is listed underneath the picture on our website. Hope this helps :)

So I finally think I have the info I need to get started. I'm still a bit confused on size of fabric I should order. Plan to frame the complete project with no matting etc. So what size fabric. 25 count on Evenweave 2 over 1. What would the actual size of project be. As you can see this is all new to me and I still have a lot of information to learn about but have learned a lot here. also what size needles?

Please tell us this isn't your first project! 😃

Personally would go19x22 for fabric. Gives you little more than 3 inches per side for framing. Needle size 26. Anybody want to double check me? Please do. Lovely pattern.
PS: since this is a coverall pattern would start from upper left instead of traditional center. Just remember to start 3 inches in from left side if material and 3 inches down from top so you have your framing border. Happy stitching and post progress pics please.
