Hurricane Florence
I am thinking and praying for all of you in it's path. I have been following it from good ole safe Nebraska and being nervous for people in it's path. Please stay safe.

It sure will help if the wind speeds come down to a Category 1 and decrease the “surge”.

Bermuda, I've heard that it's not arriving until later today, but are you already experiencing the high winds and rain? The waiting and not knowing what's going to happen must be dreadful!

Not any rain here in Columbia, SC where we are at this time. We, like yourselves, are learning everything through updates and I check the National Hurricane Center website to see what information they have. Our son called from Ohio and warned us that even Columbia which is 2 1/2 hours south and west of Myrtle Beach - and the capital of SC - will be getting 3-5 inches of rain. I do have experience at canoeing......🛶......and rowing 🚣‍♂️

Prayers and best wishes for a safe outcome from down here. Will be watching and hoping it goes away preferably out to sea.

Keep praying guys, we are...
So far, National Hurricane Center States Florence now down to 100 miles per hour, moving 5 miles per hour West North West toward Cape Hatteras, NC area. The problem is not going to be the wind gusts 25 mph, but the wave ‘surge’ now predicted at up to 6 feet and the rain predictions of 12-18 inches So we can keep the roof of our house, but it is the flooding we worry about...
