So sad that anyone is not even safe in their place of worship.

Another one!? Is it ever going to stop.? Why do people have to resort to violence when they are unhappy or disagree with something? Can't you just walk away? Go find a room, shut the door and scream! Don't hurt others.

Prayers to the families that are affected by this senseless violence.

We were out all day, and just heard about this. I have no words.

How can it stop when guns are so available? How can the avIlability stop? I honestly can’t see any answers. It’s so sad for the good Americans that feel they must be armed in order to protect themselves. Catch 22.

You are so right Nettie, but that’s the problem in a nutshell and sadly it’s going to happen again and again. Even if guns were banned there must be millions around so it seems to me to have gone beyond the point of no return.

A few years ago we had had a deadly attack on our synagogue in Copenhagen by a young Middle Eastern man. The Jewish guard and the shooter were both killed but no one else was harmed. There is always a police watch when there is any type of service being held. The weapon used by the shooter was obtained illegally because owning guns is illegal here. These things happen here too but on a much smaller scale.

It is so sad when what should be a place of peace and refuge is not. When will people learn that violence and guns are not the answer. Prayers and deepest sympathy to all involved.

Thoughts and prayers to everyone affected in Pittsburgh and indeed the world. This will stop when hatred stops and it looks like there is no end in sight for that, unfortunately. I don't get why people feel they need to hate and do these things.
