Big cross stitch retreat in Nashville, TN - Aug 9-11th, 2019
Hello everyone,
I wanted to let you all know about an awesome cross stitch event happening in August 9th-11th (meet and greet on the 8th) in Nashville, TN. It is a 2 1/2 day event with guest designers Erica Michaels, Susan Greening-Davis, Noteworthy Needle and Nebby Needle. There will also be great vendors for shopping like Bush Mountain Stitchery and Needleworker's Delight. For more info, check out the Facebook group:

I agree an event would be a terrific excuse to travel and meet. Furnish me a spot with a padded, comfy seat, AC, flowing liquids, AC, local cuisine, AC, happy mingling, AC, free stuff, AC, and I would have to check my pulse regularly, and take extra credit cards to replace the melted ones. 😊

If I have AC I can sleep in an armless dining chair...I don't want to, but that's where my priorities lie. 😃

My daughter works and lives in Nashville and a few times she has
texted me that the bosses let them go home early because of certain
events taking place in town, such as last week's CM festival, but I doubt
a cross stitch event would be such an event! I'm picturing a bunch of cross stitchers
with their floral tote bags storming the streets!

I picture a motorized coach, something like the Queen's horse-drawn (is it AC'd?), blaring a variety of music...after all, sunscreen might stain our fabrics...slow progress so the drinks could catch up as we order...people screaming to see the backs of our projects...boos as I flip them off...
