Good for you! I am happy for you. Just think-you won't have to work all the holidays and put up with Christmas shoppers. Now get something out that you have been dying to cross stitch. Doctor's orders. Pam

Woot! Congratulations on your retirement.🥂 I’ve been “retired” for 7 years now. (They told me I wasn’t old enough to retire, so technically I quit) It will take a while for it to sink in, make a plan to do all the things you haven’t had time to do, relax, and enjoy!

May you have a long enjoyable retirement stitching to your hearts content and other activities. My late wife worked for Walmart for 21 years, she too got tired of the bs and 90 day wonders for manegment that knew NOTHING NOR WANTED HER ADVICE IN A LIFE LONG CAREER IN RETAIL. She got up at her regular time on her first day of retirement--just so she could do a happy dance!!!!!!! and turn the alarm off go back to bed!!!!!!

I worked at Wal-Mart for a few years part-time. I enjoyed working there. My problem was the associates in the surrounding departments around me. If a customer asked a question of their department, they would disappear. So, of course, the customer would look for the nearest associate, which was usually me. So I learned not only my department, but theirs also. I still find that is true as a customer now. Why can't they learn their departments and be helpful. I really get tired of looking for help.
