I bought this pattern from ECS, and finished in time for the 4th of July! I had so much fun making it, and I added the dates to it, to mark our Nation’s Birthday!

Good Morning!
Irish it was 92 here yesterday with a 78 dew point felt like 105 yuck yuck and yuck. Our farmhouse is over 150 years old so we have skinny narrow windows ac won't fit, had ac when my dad was alive but it quit working and my parents never got it fixed to much money. Going to be 95 today and again high dew point. I did not receive any cookie recipes from you i am sorry to say they must be out in space floating around. Would love to see your stitching projects you finished. Still working on the cardinal will share in the wip for july.

Caty glad you are doing well and the is fixed. I have just been taking it easy and not doing much because of the weather. Gracie i believe is very happy to be safe inside and getting her usual attention, treats, food, and love. Do you have any pets? Well i best go for now take care

Good Morning!
It is going to be a super hot and humid week, yuck! Already have everything closed up curtains closed and the fans on. Most i will be doing today is stitching and going thru my recipes ( I tend to rip out and collect from magazines ) so now time to go thru and discard some. Gracie is laying on the cool tile floor in the kitchen already. Take care and stay safe and cool.

Good Tuesday July eve morning everyone. Yes, it was 107 with the heat index yesterday and more on the way. It was a laundry, stitching, and watching movie kind of day. Today will be a repeat other than no laundry. It is nice sitting outside with our coffee in the morning before the heat hits. Wishing everyone a terrific Tuesday!

The researchers conclude that the unique motor and sensory experience of holding a pen plays a key role in brain development and learning. As a result, they argue that handwriting instruction should remain a core part of education to support deeper comprehension and cognitive growth in the next generation.

Good Monday morning everyone. June is almost over and it has gone very quickly. Getting ready for 4th of July weekend. Yesterday was nice because I heard from both of my sons and we had good conversations. They will be 34 and 40 next month. The heat has arrived, air conditioning is on, and have planned inside activities this week. Have a great week ahead!
