Fabric color
I need advise as to what fabric color would look good with this pattern. Wanting to broaden my horizons and use something besides white. Unless the majority of you think white is best

GOOD MORNING - What's on your mind THURSDAY
Good Thursday morning everyone. I truly enjoyed reading everyone's responses yesterday to what they have learned during their cross stitch journey. This is a good place to learn and exchange ideas or enable one another. Yesterday I ordered some Sketchers ankle boots for comfort. The motorcycle boots have been donated to Good Will. That phase of my life is over. Still stitching on "Mermaid and the Ship" -- the cropped version and enjoying the fall weather. Have a terrific Thursday!

Thread color
I'm working on the Frosty Flakes punch needle pattern. I think I'm going to run out of Bayberry. Your thumbnail looks so much darker, mine looks much lighter. Is the true floss much lighter? I've had this pattern for about 8 yrs. Thanks, Sandra

Question about Cardinals Snowman
is this counted cross stitch and how big is it? Does it include everything you need to complete?

What does everyone think?
Hi everyone, this is Cheryl. Back to ask a question. I am working on a gift project, I making placemats for a friend. They will startout as holidays, then seasonal. Making them double sided with a different holiday on each side. I ordered 12 15x18 inch fidlers cloth do get started. Making just 2 of each for a dear friend and his new bride. Here's my question. White doesn't show up very well, would you add a gray, pale blue, pale pink strand with the white to help it stand out, or an extra strand of white. What do you all think?

GOOD MORNING - What's on your mind WEDNESDAY
Good Wednesday morning everyone. I can't believe it's the middle of the week already and time is moving way too fast lately. I want to take the opportunity this morning to express my appreciation for those who read this daily post, stop by to comment, or just show up from day to day. Time has moved quickly as I have been with ECS for 10 years now, the length of time I've been stitching. I've learned a lot on here from more experienced stitchers as my own stitching journey continues. What are some things you have learned? For me, I've learned how fabrics can make a difference with a project and I have to admit I love fabric. I've learned that I love stitching on Lugana. Those are my thoughts this Wednesday morning. Have a wonderful Wednesday!
