working with perforated paper

Is there a trick to doing 1/4 stitches on perforated paper? I can't seem to do them without tearing. Please help!!!

GOOD MORNING - What's on your mind WEDNESDAY

Good Wednesday morning everyone. It's going to be another hot one today and into tomorrow so it's doing outside early. Why are we getting this impossible weather in September? Today I will be shipping "Winter Cardinals" to my niece and her husband and mailing my SIL a birthday card, then another short shopping and home for chores and stitching. While out shopping I hope to take a peek at the JCS Magazine. Stay cool everyone if you're in the hot zone and have a wonderful Wednesday.

Labor Day Hours Reminder

Hi there Everyone!

Our offices will be closed for the Labor Day holiday on Monday. So that means our offices will be close today (Friday) at 5pm EST and will reopen at 8am EST on Tuesday, Sept. 8th.

Any phone messages and orders placed during our closure will not be handled until return to the office on Tuesday. Emails to our Customer Service will still be answered but repsonse times may be longer than usual due to it being a holiday weekend.

Of course, our website is available 24/7 so you can browse, shop and order anything you need for your cross stitching needs :) We wish you all a safe and happy holiday weekend and we hope you can get some stitching in!

Sept 2026 WIP (Work In Progress) 'Show and Tell'

Hello everyone -- welcome to September, the first of the annual '-ber' months!

It's that time of the month again, the beginning of the month and our time to share what we've been stitching on or what we've recently completed.

Share a photo and brief description (name of pattern + designer or publisher). If you prefer not to share a photo or if it's difficult to do, just tell us in words. We all enjoy seeing or hearing about what we've all been working on!

has anyone ever made a project from a pattern by allesandra adelaide? i'm looking at pattern...camping ghosts. the price is $12.00. i don't mind if it is an actual pattern but if it is one flimsy sheet of copy paper i'll pass. thanks cheryl

Completed several projects over the last four months:golden belongs to oldest grandson-is his Christmas present.The Brittany spaniels belong to the youngest grandson who just got married on August8.
The blanket was there wedding gift.The pillow cases are for the next bridal shower.
