GOOD MORNING - What's on your mind MONDAY
Good Christmas week Monday morning everyone. Today is the day -- the shed and yes I will post a picture of it and hope to goodness there isn't another delay because the snow is gone! It's a new week and you all know I am one of the few that actually like Mondays. Well, I attempted a finish on my Crocette a Gogo gingerbread man. I said attempted. He's today's featured photo. I am going to stitch another ornament today of an ice skate. Have an excellent Monday and a great week ahead.

Christian Stitchers Daily Chat
“Revealed” #18 Jehovah Gmolah means The Lord Who Rewards. The Scripture reference is 2 Samuel 22:21-25. These words were written by King David, his song of deliverance after he became king of Israel. David spent years both serving King Saul and running from Saul’s jealous rages when he would try to kill David. David never retaliated against Saul, but obeyed God’s command to honor those in authority over him. What David learned from this is 1) vengeance belongs to the Lord and 2) God deals in mercy and grace first, discipline/ vengeance as a last resort. David had acquired a heart of mercy through his struggles with Saul which was a greater reward than becoming king.

Stitching bug
I still can't seem to catch it. I have tried several different patterns, watched videos to help hype me up but I seem to get maybe one row done and then I get frustrated and quit, these are not hard patterns mostly just simple ornaments. I have been like this since I received my bifocals over a year ago and I was working full time then so I just didn't have time to pull everything out so i left it. I have tried everything but I just can't bring myself to do it. I went back to crochet and loved it mostly because it doesn't take a lot of attention, maybe I am a crochet person in cross stitch clothing...lol.

GOOD MORNING - What's on your mind SUNDAY
Good first day of winter Sunday morning everyone and not a drop of snow on the ground this morning. Just a cool wind, but the ground will be clear for the shed. Finishing up on the one of the Crocette a Gogo Christmas ornaments of a gingerbread man and now I'm thinking it's time to make some gingerbread bread. I haven't made that in years. All I need is some molasses. Wishing everyone a happy first day of winter and day full of peace and blessings. Remember to try to find gratitude, even in those small things.

I looked everywhere..
When I dropped the back of my ear ring…crawling on floor, little flashlight in hand….I gave up, then saw this…..

Tried something different
Looking for a different stitch for backgrounds…most of them felt like they distracted from the pattern….this is a basket weave….it was a bit of a challenge, mistakes were made…but easy enough to fix…
