“Revealed “ #27 Jehovah Shalom means The Lord is Peace. The Scripture reference is Judges 6:23-24.
This is the story of Gideon, whom God called a mighty man of valor, when he was as chicken hearted as they come. After encountering the Lord, Gideon built an altar and called it Jehovah Shalom. God did go on to use Gideon, to raise up in him a mighty man of valor. Gideon obeyed God and saw the defeat of the Midianites rule over Israel. He also became one of the judges/leaders in Israel who lead them in righteousness.
Peace is vital to the human heart. It’s one of the fruits of the Spirit given at rebirth. Jesus came both to bring peace and to give peace.
May God’ peace be made known to you, fill you, and be upon you today and all of 2026. Happy New Year!!!
