Memorial Day.....May we remember the sacrifices of those who didn't come back.
Hi everyone, yep it's me again. I wanted to remember all the men and women who didn't come back and I knew a few, I know more who didn't come back mentally though. Sometimes it was safer for them.
Others who didn't come back physically are few in my life but I pray that everyone here who knows both realize I thank their people from the bottom, of this stitchy heart.
I'm marching in the parade today at the age of 56 (38 minutes long) I did this route many times in my youth. For baseball and scouts and my high school.
But this year with so many things happening throughout these 5 years especially, I'm marching for my dad, (one who fought here, my uncle who is passed away; who came home but physically not so much mentally, for my friends James and Patsy who passed away months of each other in their 80s, who has a grandson who I also march for...he will participate next year.
I have put some stitches in and I will post what I have been doing today.
Well with all of us today I'm remembering a saying I read and one that most can't speak. Every time you see a flag wave remember it's the breath of those who sacrificed with their lives for our liberties and freedoms that we enjoy every day. I hope from now on, I try better everyday not to mock their sacrifices.

Good Morning
1 Peter 2:17
17 "Honor all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. "Honor the king."
Have A Bless Day! Remember the ones who are in and out and pass and the family in the military. Thank you so much for my freedom.

GOOD MORNING - What's on your mind MONDAY
Good Memorial Day Monday morning. A new week, a fresh start, and new beginnings. We are remembering quietly those family members who have served and are grateful for those who are currently serving. It will actually be sunny today and the low 80's and after days of gray and rain it will be very welcome. We are baking a ham and believe it or not -- a pumpkin pie, which we eat year round. Enjoy your day however you choose to celebrate.
