Does anyone know of a good place that I can get a clip on small witch on a broom and a bat charm? I have very small frames (2x2) I want to attach them too. Thanks

Feed me your knowledge.
The last cross stitch store in my town just went out of business. I am very sad about it. I’ve ordered on here before and have had very much success finding and getting the supplies I’ve needed. It looks like I’m going to become a regular customer to online cross stitch shopping and I’m a bit weary. This site to me has a lot of customer friendly sales and runs coupons, but I also see they aren’t the cheapest and shipping prices always pay a part. I love the community on this chat and I just wanted to ask, do you all also shop around to find deals? Is there a website I haven’t found yet that maybe I could find more then I can here? I do a lot of everything with stitching patterns and finding kits. I’m open for any feedback to help me find the best I can get! TIA

If You like Parades
And carnivals, and music, and food, Fiesta is starting here. It runs from April 16 to 26. There is a day parade, night parade, River parade, and even a pooch parade.
The Battle of Flowers parade is the last Friday of Fiesta. There is no school and many businesses close. The next night is the Flambeau parade.
Our kids were in the band, and participated in the Battle of the Bands competition on a Thursday night, then marched in the Battle of Flowers on a Friday. There are so many schools, they rotate every other year.
Several years ago, my husband and I would work with a group selling snow cones and fresh fruit cups along the route of the Battle of Flowers parade. One year, the weather changed at the last minute, and it was incredibly cold. The booth organizers had to pivot, and we sold hot chocolate!
Here is the link to the schedule. Click on a day and a list of events for that day will appear. There are many events throughout the city. It is a happy occasion, and people smile a lot more during this time. No one gives it a second thought if you are out and about wearing a flower crown or a vest covered in Fiesta medals. 😊

Q-snap vs hoop
So I've always been a fan of Q-snaps, but now I am finding them getting heavy and harder to hold for long periods of stitching. I'm finding that I set my stitching aside far sooner than I'd like. I am considering switching to a hoop, and am interested in the Nurge rectangular hoop. My question is how long can you leave your work in the hoop without leaving "hoop marks". I tend to do cover-all patterns, so my work stays in place for 4-6 weeks at a time before I reposition it. I would really appreciate some advice. Thanks.

Weather
I can now say I've seen just about everything.
I live in a neighborhood in a city. Due to the amount of rain in the last 24 hours, a lot of yards are flooded.
The neighbor behind me now has the honor of having 2 ducks in their puddles because they are deep enough for the ducks to float.
I really have to wonder where they came from because there really isn't a lake close by.

Plum Street Patriotic sampler
The Plum Street sampler commemorating 250 years for America— what specialty stitches are required in this chart. It is gorgeous and I would live to stitch it— just not into lots of specialty stitching at my age. Thank you for any info.

GOOD MORNING - What's on your mind THURSDAY
Good rainy Thursday morning everyone. We sure didn't linger long outdoors this morning very long. Looks like today will be an inside day doing inside jobs and some stitching. Have an excellent day!
