Our monthly 'Show and Tell' is just two or three days away -- but I want to share now because I'm so relieved to finally have completed this a couple of days ago! Almost four years start to finish, but it did spend some time sitting idle for a few months at a time.

Santa looks like a rather young fellow, but I suppose he's ageless!

Just saw Mary C's Santa. Wow Wow Wow. Not to compare it with Lady Sillouette I am now working on. Just about finished the lady and acouple of smaller objects. But I am now looking at the background with leaves and flowers and wondering, "Can I really do this " ? I only work on 14 ct. But this Santa is so exquisite as many of yours are. and don't know how she did it. Wow. I hope I can muster up the energy to finish this project. I really love it and will try try try. So tell me ladies, where do you find the energy and determination to finish these works of art. ? I don't like WIPS....Rather than finish something I don't want, I will either discard it or give it away I'm BAD !!

Would you? When we were out the other day a man sitting at a table behind us sent his sandwich back, because it had too much mustard..this was at McAlsters, basically fast food, with an upgrade..(you stand up to order, but they bring you the food, on real plates..) I’m thinking he may have gotten it back with less mustard, but more spit…

Good Thursday morning everyone. Today is an appointment-free day and we can stay home and enjoy the day. I actually received an apology from a friend I had known since 8th grade about cutting off our friendship during the pandemic over differences in beliefs. Totally unexpected, but I told her in no uncertain terms that I appreciated the apology, but did not wish to resume the friendship. Maybe that's harsh, but one thing the pandemic taught me is to surround ourselves with people who love and accept us for who we are. Those are my thoughts today. Have a thankful Thursday.
